👋🏽 Hi, I'm Advait.
I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo passionate about cybersecurity. I originally fell in love with hacking (in the MIT sense of the word) after reading Hackers by Steven Levy, participating in the First Tech Challenge, and watching too much Mr. Robot in high school.
Three internships (Dawson Partners and RBC Threat Intelligence) and three certifications later (eJPT for pentesting, CySA+ and Security+ for blue teaming), I'm still in it for the love of the game!
Outside of work, my the hobby I spend the most time pursuing is competitive debate. Earlier this year, uy debate partner and I became the first Waterloo team since 1991 to reach elimination rounds at Worlds. You can read all about that journey below.
